With over 27 years experience in the industry and dispensing around 5000 prescription lenses per day, there is a good chance you have already experienced our lens quality if you have purchased glasses from leading high street opticians. All of the lens products we use are manufactured to full BSI (British Standards Institute), & ISO9001 (International Standards Organisation)quality standards, and we are covered by CE (European Conformity) accreditation.

                                                                    The technicians making your lenses are trained and qualified to SMC Tech Level. This is an industry qualification for lens manufacturers; sadly, many other Laboratories do not train and qualify their staff to this level.

The laboratory machinery manufacturing your lenses is amongst the most advanced in Europe and will further advance by continued investment in the latest production technologies; the latest investment was a freeform generator and lens polishing units to ensure the accuracy of your prescription lens is second to none.

We have the largest prescription range available of any manufacturer in the country and the lenses we use are the very same as one of the UK's leading high street opticians. Our lens choice is also vast and we provide the leading edge of lens technology with our Back Surfaced Varifocal lenses.

Our competitors will strive to give you the lens option that gives them the most profit because they don't manufacture lenses, they can only provide your prescription glasses if your prescription is within the off-the-shelf 'stock lens' range, i.e. between '+8.00 SPH to -8.00 SPH' for single vision lenses.

For Varifocal and Bifocal lenses they will buy in from an external source and choose the cheapest option which is not necessarily of the highest quality and design.

During the manufacturing of your prescription lenses, we will always ensure that your individual prescription is custom made when required to ensure that the curvature of your lens fits correctly to the frame of your choice. This is not always the case with many other on-line prescription glasses retailers as they will only use off- the-shelf 'stock' lenses. This can mean that the lens does not fit your frame correctly and you will see unsightly bevels on the edge of the lens.
